Abstract: Li Ziqi is very popular in china and overseas because of her short videos featuring a pastoral life which is exactly opposite from a material life, her simple, quiet and perfect life that is the envy of modern city people who live a fast-paced life?and also the harmony among people and between human beings and nature reflected in her videos. This paper will introduce her to reveal why she is so admired and adored by a number of followers across the world, explore how the ancient Chinese philosophies influence Li Ziqi living a bucolic lifestyle and attempt to find out how Internet celebrities can gain popularity through short videos.
